Five finalists were selected from 21 outstanding contestants who performed two monologues each on March 26, 2023

Corbin performed pieces from King Lear, Jitney by August Wilson, and Stupid is Just 4 2day by Lindsay Price. The judges were impressed with the clarity, variety, boldness, and most of all, the extraordinary authenticity of his performance. Corbin will represent the DC Chapter in the National Competition to be held in Lexington, Kentucky on May 18-20, 2023 for the chance to win up to $15,000.
